The Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammer is the progeny of Colt’s Model 1902, which itself was derived from the Hartford, Connecticut manufacturer’s Model 1900. With its shorter barrel, the .38 ACP-chambered 1903 is essentially a compact version of the 1902 Sporting Model. The low-profile spur hammer on this restored example helps date the pistol as post-1907, with its serial number revealing year of manufacture as 1914.

History Restored:

  • Polish frame, slide and parts to early high-polish finish
  • Restore all original markings
  • Color case harden hammer
  • Nitre blue trigger, magazine catch, barrel links, rear sight, pins, screws, takedown plug
  • Charcoal blue frame, slide and parts
