Description
Fox first offered by Fox in 1919, single barrel trap guns (SBT) were offered in four grades: J, K, L & M. The K-grade is equivalent to the XE grade double. The first K-grade SBT gun was shipped in September 1919. Based on the information in Michael McIntosh’s book on Fox shotguns, there were a total of 568 SBT guns built by Fox, of which 75 were built as K-grade guns.
This K-grade Fox SBT has been restored to its original beauty by the craftsmen at Turnbull Restoration & Manufacturing Co. Work included a complete wood and metal restoration with checkering re-cut, polishing, color case hardening and rust bluing on the barrel.
