Winchester Model 1894 Short Rifle

NOTE: this is an example of a previous customer restoration, and therefore the firearm is not for sale.

This rifle is a rather unique configuration with a short rifle barrel and forend, as well as a button magazine.  A complete restoration has returned this rifle to its original beauty.  The condition of the original barrel was extremely poor and required that a new barrel be installed.  The new barrel is an exact match to the original with all of the correct barrel markings, including matching proof marks on both the receiver and barrel. 

The stocks are original to the rifle and have been restored.  The receiver is finished in the correct Charcoal Bluing with the hammer and lever being Color Case Hardened.  The barrel and magazine tube are finished with period correct Rust Bluing. 

The result of the restoration work  has produced a very handsome and perfectly restored Winchester Model 1894 Short Rifle.
