A rather unique blend of old and new is what sets this rifle apart from other Model 1890’s. This rifle was originally built in 1919 and was chambered for the 22 W.R.F round. The rifle has since been restored and upgraded to handle the newer 17 HMR round. The barrel is new and is a 24″ half round, half octagon with a full length magazine tube. The stocks are also new, and made from a piece of 3X fancy walnut. The checkering is a factory H-pattern and the custom engraving is based on a Winchester factory pattern with gold wire border inlays surrounding the animals. A truly distinctive gallery rifle for those looking for a combination of original Winchester craftsmanship and modern rim-fire cartridge ballistics.
