Turnbull Winchester Model 1886 Extra Light (USRAC) – Sold

Description
This is a new Turnbull Winchester Model 1886 Extra Light chambered in .475 Turnbull, a new example of the original Winchester Model 1886 designed by John Moses Browning. The big-bore lever action rifle manufactured by U.S. Repeating Arms Company features a 22″ round barrel and half-length magazine, 1X walnut stocks, straight grip, and Decelerator recoil pad.
Similar to our own Model 1886 reproductions, this expression of the USRAC 1886 sports restoration-grade finishes including: color case hardened receiver, lever, hammer, crescent butt plate and forend cap; rust blued barrel and half-length magazine; charcoal blued small parts; hand-rubbed wood finish in classic Winchester red. Rounding out the 86’s John Browning reversion is our tang safety conversion process, taking this example back to a half-cock safety as it was originally designed over a century ago.
