Turnbull Restoration & Manufacturing Co., Model 71 SOLD

Description

This rifle is one of our new Turnbull Manufacturing Co. rifles. We start with a newer Browning Model 71 and begin to modify and upgraded the rifle to handle the new 475 Turnbull round.

The rifle has been fitted with a new 26″ full octagon barrel and a full length magazine tube. The stock has been re-shaped to lower the height of the comb. The sharp radius found on the nose of the stock comb has also been reduced to improve comfort when shooting. Orignal Winchester H-pattern checkering has also been added to the stocks

The receiver has been color case hardened and the barrel and magazine tube have been rust blued.

This rifle can be built using a rifle provided by Turnbull Restoration & Manufacturing Co., or the work can be done on a rifle provided by the customer.
