Since the introduction of our version of the Government 1911 a few years back, customers have been drawn to its marriage of restoration-grade artisanship with new gun production. Such is the case with this custom replica – a no-nonsense 1911 that demonstrates what can be accomplished when the restoration mindset is applied to the production of a new firearm.

This Government Heritage model is outfitted with a beavertail grip safety, checkered front strap, Novak 3-dot sights, color case hardened A1 frame and hammer, charcoal blued slide, double diamond walnut grips, commander-style hammer and 5″ barrel. This new Model 1911 includes two magazines and a molded plastic case. Every Turnbull manufactured Model 1911 is 100% hand fit.
