Following up on the popularity of our Winchester 1873, 1885 and 1892 expressions, we’re excited to offer the Turnbull Winchester 1894. This ultra-limited run is available in .30-30 Winchester and .38-55 Winchester.

Starting with a factory-new Winchester Model 1894 Deluxe Short Rifle in 2020 “SHOT Show Special” configuration, we’ve applied our signature bone charcoal color case hardening process to the receiver, lever, hammer and forend cap. We’ve also refinished the grade V/VI American walnut stocks in hand-rubbed oil finish matching Winchester’s classic red shading. This master of the deer woods is beautiful in every classic way.

And there’s one more important feature for the purists among us: our tang safety conversion process takes his example back to a half-cock safety, as it was originally designed by John M. Browning over a century ago. The Turnbull Winchester 1894’s release also marks the introduction of new ‘94 tang safety conversions as part of our Turnbull Finished Services offering.

Barrel and magazine bluing is factory, as is buttstock and forend checkering.
