Turnbull Finished Marlin 1894CB – Sold

Description
Admired by famous exhibition shooters of the late 1800s, enthusiastically adopted by hunters preferring its innovative design, chosen as a perennial go-to by today’s cowboy action shooters. The Marlin 1894 boasts a fascinating history, and one that we’re happy to add to with our own version.
Starting with a factory-new Model 1894CB, which still employs L.L. Hepburn’s innovative 1893 design favoring a solid steel top and side ejection, we transform the rifle with our signature touches. We remove the hammer safety block and install a switchable safety block filler, which helps transform the new 1894CB to its forbear’s original spec. The stock and forend are refinished by Turnbull Restoration, to match the classic Marlin red finish. Last but not least, we refinish the receiver, lever, hammer and forend cap with our traditional bone charcoal case color hardened process.
The short-action rifle is chambered for interchangeability with ever-popular handgun rounds. Choose from our models in .44 Rem Mag/.44 Spl and .45 Colt.
