Smith & Wesson 2nd Model Single Shot – SOLD

Description

Presented to you today is a Smith & Wesson 2nd Model Single Shot target pistol. Carrying serial number 1400, this popular competition firearm chambered in .22LR was originally shipped between 1905 and 1909.

Metal condition shows 60% of the original blue finish and shows wear expected of its age and usage. Strong case hardened colors on the hammer, and faint case colors on the trigger guard. Markings are strong. Screws are in overall excellent condition, although the firearm does appear to have been disassembled at some time. The Single Shot’s bore is good with strong rifling.

Note the cracks on the pistol’s right panel grip.
