1 review for Gastinne Renette 20 Gauge

  1. Steven Kumpan

I recently discovered this article on the Turnbull website and was pleasantly surprised to see my own Gastinne-Renette shotgun! This work was completed in June 2021, and I am happy to give Turnbull Restoration 5 stars for the work that they did to restore my heirloom shotgun, and for the excellent client interface during the process. After shipping the shotgun to Turnbull, I traveled to Rochester and was given a detailed tour of the facility along with a personal session with Doug Turnbull and Joon Kim to discuss the work that was to be done. We carefully reviewed every detail of what needed to be done to properly restore the shotgun, and Doug gave me great advice and guidance. What i remember most was his statement that I should not just keep the gun in my safe after it was restored, but take it out and go hunting with it. Now every time I carry it in the field or take it with me to an AKC hunt test for my dogs, I get all sorts of wonderful comments and interest from other shotgun enthusiasts. I highly recommend Turnbull Restoration to anyone who would like to restore their family heirloom.
