LeFever A-Grade .410

Description

A complete wood & metal restoration on this little .410 LeFever A-grade has produced a very attractive shotgun.  As the restoration work was started on this gun it was discovered that the top barrel rib had been glued to the barrels at some point in the past.  This resulted in the barrel ribs having to be striped and re-soldered. The stocks are original to the gun and were restored with a full checkering re-cut done by hand.  The barrels and receiver underwent a complete metal polish and engraving & lettering re-cut. 

The receiver and forend iron are finished in the correct Bone Charcoal Color Case Hardening and the barrels are finished with the period correct slow Rust Blue process.
