Added to our pre-owned collection today is an Iver Johnson Supershot Sealed Eight, considered by many to be among the company’s finest work. This example was part of a series of large-frame, top-break .22 rimfires produced in three production stages between 1932 and 1958.

Much of the revolver’s original bluing remains, as does traces of the original case colors on the hammer and trigger. Metal shows some pitting, along with wear marks consistent with normal usage. The walnut grips appear to have been refinished at some point. This top-break rimfire is mechanically sound.
