Chambered in .45-70 Gov’t, the rifle’s hardened brass receiver is distinctive and reliable. The brass accents continue through the rifle with the carbine-style buttplate and eye-catching barrel band. The American walnut buttstock and forend both feature intricate, deep checkering.
