Presented today is a used.32 caliber Colt New Police. Wearing serial number 33376, this vintage double action revolver left the Colt’s Manufacturing Company in 1906. The Colt New Police was selected by New York City Police Commissioner Theodore Roosevelt in 1896 to be the first standard-issue revolver for NYPD officers.
This original Colt revolver’s condition is good overall, with some age-appropriate pitting and surface wear. Trigger shows some original nitre blue. All internals are sound.
