A total of 15,037 Colt 1911 pistols were marked with the “Navy” designation on the right side of the slide. Manufactured 1913, this is one of the early pre-war “Navy” marked Colt 1911’s. A full metal polish, restoration of all frame and slide markings. The grips are new and are made to original factory specifications. This unique Colt 1911 has been returned to the original condition that it left the Colt factory in 1913. The pistol also has the correct two-tone lanyard loop magazine.
