Colt Model 1902 Military

Description

This Colt Model 1902 Military was originally manufactured in 1906.  A total of 1,200 Model 1902 pistols were produced that year.  The pistol has undergone a complete restoration, including restoration of all the frame and slide markings and the front slide serrations.  All of the original parts were able to be used as part of the restoration including the grips, barrel, lanyard loop and hammer.
    
Approximately the first 3,200 Model 1902 pistols had the front slide serrations.  The serrations were moved to the rear of the slide when the Model 1905 was introduced.   The left side slide patent markings are the second variation used during production.
