Description
Starting with a standard Browning Model 71, we re-barrel & re-chamber the rifle to 475 Turnbull. The stocks are original factory with a checkered steel butt plate. The original factory bluing is also retained. The barrel has been shortened to a 22″ rapid taper full octagon. The barrel and magazine tube are blued using the original Slow Rust Bluing process used by Winchester.
Because these rifles are produced under the “Turnbull Manufacturing Co.” label we are able to re-serial number them with our own unique serial number sequence. These rifles will be serial numbered TXXX, and will carry the Turnbull Manufacturing barrel address.
