Turnbull Model 1886 lever action rifle as supplied to 2017 WACA Annual Meeting Auction

Turnbull Restoration is proud to have teamed up with the Winchester Arms Collectors Association (WACA), John Pease and Negrini to supply a very special entry into WACA’s 2017 Member Reception auction. A new deluxe engraved Turnbull Model 1886 rifle chambered in .45-90 WCF will be auctioned after WACA’s Annual Membership Meeting at the Buffalo Bill Center of The West in Cody, Wyoming on July 14, 2017.

This stunning example features beautifully crafted fancy American walnut stocks, hand checkered in “H” factory pattern at 24 lines per inch. The receiver, lever, hammer and forend cap are color case hardened using the original Winchester bone and charcoal process, while the barrel and magazine tube are rust blued in the original style. Our friend and master engraver John Pease donated his work to adorn the iconic lever action rifle in Winchester Style 10 factory pattern. Negrini has donated a beautiful case to help protect this classic.

We’re always happy to work with organizations that are equally as passionate about honoring our heritage and preserving important pieces of American history. We wish WACA and its members all the best for a successful Annual Meeting!
