Description
Used Winchester 1892 SRC, re-chambered in .44-40 Win (was .38-40 Win rifle). Previous owner did partial restoration and left metal in the white. Sold as-is.
Wood condition: gun restocked in 2-3X walnut. Some handling marks. Top left of grip showed lifting, which has since been glued by Turnbull (see detail photo).
Metal condition: Metal polished to white, ready for finishes. Some original case color shows on hammer. Needs saddle ring.
