This is a Winchester Model 1890. This Second Model carries serial number 101558, dating it from the early 1900s.
Metal condition notes: 80% barrel and magazine tube; 40% color case hardening on receiver, and faint indication on crescent butt plate; very good bore, minor frosting, fairly bright, strong rifling; screws are in excellent condition with minor distress to the slots; strong mechanical action.
Wood condition notes: Buttstock appears to have been finished at some time by a 3rd party, and forend may have had finish added at some point.
