This is a Winchester 1886 Take Down chambered in .45-70.  This rifle has a 26” blued octagon barrel and a full mag tube.  This Winchester 1886 Take Down has been completely refinished by Turnbull Restoration.  The barrel, mag tube and parts have been blued using time period correct finish.  The receiver, lever, hammer, fore end cap and crescent butt plate have are all finished in the Turnbull signature case color hardening.
