Here we have a “Turnbull-ized” Winchester Model 1886 Deluxe Takedown in .475 Turnbull. Originally finished and shipped in 2020, we’re happy to have this Winchester back in our showroom as we find a new home for it.

Overall, this Winchester is in excellent condition, as it was rarely fired by the previous owner. Metal finishes include Turnbull signature bone charcoal color case hardening on receiver, lever, hammer, crescent butt plate and forend cap. The barrel features hand engraving and gold band inlay, and it along with the magazine tube are rust blued. The factory buttstock and forend were both hand refinished by Turnbull in classic Winchester red. Work in 2020 also included tang safety conversion.
