Added to our pre-owned collection today is this Winchester Model 1886 lever action rifle chambered in .40-65 Winchester. This example of the John M. Browning-penned classic originally shipped in 1891. A copy of our Cody Firearms Records Office search is included.

Barrel has been cut to 25-inches by a previous owner. Recess/dent at bottom of buttstock near crescent buttplate. This antique rifle is otherwise is very good condition. A fine addition to any collection of Winchester originals.
