Originally shipped in 1887, we had the pleasure of restoring this rifle in 2013. It retains its original stocks, but we did replace the old, worn-out barrel. All original markings have been restored, and this beautiful rifle has been refinished with period-correct finishes: Color case hardening, charcoal bluing, nitre bluing, and rust bluing. Less than 20,000 .22 caliber 1873 rifles were made from 1884-1904.
