Transform Your New Firearms to Instant Family Heirlooms

Our antique gun restoration customers often ask us if their newly-manufactured firearms can be made to look old by applying our signature metal and wood treatments. In many cases the answer is “yes”, and that’s where Turnbull Finished Services come in. Our finishes and techniques have been meticulously developed to match those of the original gun makers of yesteryear. Bone charcoal color case hardening, charcoal bluing, rust bluing, hand-rubbed oil wood finishes, nitre bluing, engraving – all period-correct and worthy of heirloom status. Browse our list below to see which newly-manufactured firearms we’ve transformed with Turnbull Finished Services.

  1. Terry Mann

    Excellent

  2. Glenn Reynolds

I have a Ruger Bisley that was converted to 500 Linebaugh.
I’d like to get the frame color case hardened. Are there any other parts of the gun you recommend CCH-ing?
Do you have an estimate of cost and lead time?

    Thanks, Glenn

    • Sara Turnbull

      Hi Glenn,
As long as these parts are all blued carbon steel we like to do the frame, hammer, trigger, and loading gate. Often the hammer and trigger are stainless, so we can’t do those parts.
      Thanks,
      Sara

  3. Paul Lo Verme

I have a US Patent Firearms SAA (model P) that was left in the “white” can that be CCH and blued?

    • Sara Turnbull

      Hi Paul,
If it’s truly in the white and not stainless we can color case harden and blue it for you. Please fill out one of our contact forms or email us at info@turnbullrestoration.com for more information.
      Thanks,
      Sara
