To us, big-bore lever action rifles are a thing of beauty. The Marlin 1895 is no exception, and it’s the latest addition to the Turnbull Finished line of new production firearms.
This one-of-a-kind Turnbull Marlin 1895 rifle is converted to .470 Turnbull, with rust blued barrel and 4 round tubular magazine. The receiver, lever, hammer and forend cap are all finished in Turnbull’s unique color case hardening using the traditional methods. We removed the hammer safety block and install a safety block filler, which helps transform the new 1895 to its forbear’s original spec. The wood buttstock and forend are both refinished by hand to match Marlin’s original red shading and offer factory cut deep checkering.
