German Rarity

Although we proudly restore classic American firearms, we’re honored to work on rare European makes such as this exquisite example from Germany. Built by master gun maker Christoph Hoffaker, this unique 12ga. over/11.5x50R under hunting gun was most likely assembled by Hoffaker using components manufactured in Germany’s major gun making center of Suhl. Hoffaker’s shop was located in Munich, known then as “the New York of Bavaria” and renowned for its high-end firearm retailers.
