In honor of the 150th Anniversary of “The Gun that Won the West”, we’re proud to offer our version of the legendary Model 1873. Only 10 examples of this truly special lever action rifle will be manufactured.

Our tribute to the Model 1873’s birth features a wealth of museum-grade Turnbull touches. We apply our signature charcoal blueing to the receiver, forend cap and small parts while color case hardening the hand-engraved lever, hammer and butt plate. Speaking of hand engraving, the dust cover and forend cap receive our distinct scrollwork as well.

The 24″ barrel and magazine tube are rust blued. Screws, pins and loading gate are treated to eye-grabbing nitre blue. The receiver top tang is drilled and tapped for an optional tang-mounted rear sight. To round things out, we finish the checkered stocks in a hand-rubbed oil finish to match the classic red shading made famous by the original Winchester examples. 

To present and protect each prized rifle, we’ve commissioned a set of 10 hand-made cases with leather and golden appointments. Wearing a smartly-embroidered Turnbull logo, the case features a quality fit with plenty of room for ammunition and accessories.
