Marlin 1881 Rifle

Description

This Marlin Model 1881 rifle was restored to factory original condition back in 2009.  All metal parts were polished and a new barrel and magazine tube were replaced.  After polishing, the barrel markings were replaced to factory specifications and engraving was recut on the action.  Nickel plate, gold plate, charcoal blue, color case hardening and rust blue were the finishes applied to this fine rifle.  The checkering was re-cut on the original stocks.
