This Lefever G Grade 10 Gauge, manufactured around 1901, is a fine example of the craftsmanship that made Lefever shotguns highly regarded among American double guns. Featuring 30-inch Damascus barrels with 2-7/8″ chambers and fixed full chokes, this side-by-side was built for serious waterfowl and field use. The bores remain shiny, a testament to its careful preservation over the years.

Equipped with an extractor and Lefever’s signature adjustable ball-and-socket barrel-to-frame connection, this shotgun balances classic design with innovative late 19th-century engineering. This unique system helped maintain a tight lock-up while reducing wear over time. The stock dimensions measure 1-3/4″ drop at comb, 2-7/8″ drop at heel, and a 14″ length of pull, with a slight 1/8″ cast-off at the heel for a natural mount and swing. The overall condition shows honest wear, reflecting a well-used yet well-maintained sporting arm.
