Description

Presented for you today is a beautiful James Purdey & Sons 12 gauge shotgun. Carrying serial number 13636, this antique shotgun was originally manufactured in 1890 and appears to have been completely restored (by a 3rd party).

The buttstock features a plate intriguingly engraved with “Donated by Nan & Frank Pachmayr to Ducks Unlimited”.

This excellent find includes a lined and canvas-covered case with cleaning rod and accessories.

A wonderful acquisition for any upland bird hunter and antique firearm collector.
