We’re proud to offer a rare and historically significant showpiece in our showroom: the Henry Original B.T. Henry 200th Anniversary Edition chambered in .44-40 Winchester. This limited-edition rifle was released to honor the 200th birthday of Benjamin Tyler Henry—the legendary inventor whose 1860 Henry rifle revolutionized firearms design and laid the groundwork for the American lever-action tradition. Only 200 of these commemorative rifles were produced, making it the rarest New Original Henry model ever offered by Henry Repeating Arms.

This particular example is in pre-owned, unfired condition and has been carefully preserved since its original release. It features a 24.5-inch deep-blued octagon barrel, polished hardened brass receiver with full-coverage leafy scroll engraving, and a portrait of B.T. Henry himself engraved on the right side. The left side is inscribed with “One of 200,” while the serial number confirms its special place in the limited run. The stock is crafted from beautifully figured presentation-grade American walnut, and the brass buttplate includes the correct period-style cleaning rod compartment door. This rifle includes its original box and owner’s manuals, rounding out a truly collectible package.

Faithfully recreated from Henry’s original 1860 design, this rifle is a line-for-line tribute to a turning point in American firearms history. The toggle-link lever action, folding ladder rear sight, and half-cock hammer notch all echo the spirit of the rifle that armed Union troops and settlers alike.
