    This mount is beautifully machined, integrates seamlessly, mounts the red dot as low as possible, installs easily, and, in general, is a first class piece of work.

    First off- i didnt want to make any permanent changes; drill and tap. This is a classy way to mix all the benefits of modern technology with a classic firearm. I couldn’t decide between buckhorn, peep, or a 4x. There is nothing faster than a red dot in the brush…I cant wait until elk season to try it out!

    Would it work with my Miroku Winchester 1873 in 357 mag?

      Hi Will, thanks for asking about that. It’s only designed to work with an 1892 or 1894. You could probably get it affixed to your 1873 barrel, but it won’t be a perfect fit and it might have a hard time staying firmly affixed after several shots.

    My new Winchester 92 IMHO is the best pistol caliber lever action ever made. At my age (61) I cannot focus on the factory sights. The Burris red dot solved this problem and was a breeze to install.

    Mounted up on a 1906 model 94 30-30. Used Fastfire 3 red dot. It worked but used all the elevation of sight to get on target at 50 yards using 140 and 150 grain bullets. Got a newer 94 in 32 special, ordering mount for it today.

    I bought two of these and mounted them on a Winchester model 94 Trapper, and on a model 94 Big Bore .375. They fit perfect and were easy to install. The Burris Fastfire mounts very low and I can get a good cheekweld. I love this mount so much I’m wondering it it would fit the barrel/dovetail of the Rossi model 92 and the Mossberg 464? Thank you.

      Glad to hear they’re working well on your 94s! We haven’t tried them on a Rossi or Mossberg before, so I can’t guarantee they’ll fit. I’d recommend trying yours out before you order another one. Let me know what you find out!

    Works perfectly for my Miroku Win 94 in 450 Marlin. Ran it through its paces today sighting in the Vortex Venom 3 MOA and never budged after finding zero – didn’t see torque value mentioned so went 25 in/lbs and blue loctite.

      It will most likely not work well. You might be able to get it on the barrel, but I would anticipate it would loosen/shift over time, so it’s not recommended.
