A genuine black powder-era Colt with plenty of life left in it, this Single Action Army traces its roots to 1883 and the American frontier. Chambered in .45 Colt with a classic 7-1/2 inch barrel, it retains its original black powder frame, trigger guard, and back strap. The remaining metal components appear to be later replacements, including 2nd generation parts and a late 1st generation hammer.
The frame was recolored by a third party approximately 10 years ago, and the revolver now wears replacement grips. Timing work has been professionally performed by Turnbull Restoration, making this an appealing choice for the enthusiast seeking a tangible connection to the early Single Action Army line without sacrificing shootability.
