This Browning Model 71, chambered in the iconic .348 Winchester, received a thoughtful series of upgrades by Turnbull Restoration in early 2016. These updates enhance both the rifle’s function and its timeless appeal, making it a fine choice for hunting or collecting.

The rifle now features a red Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad, adding comfort without sacrificing style. Turnbull also checkered the walnut stocks in the standard “H” pattern, providing a secure grip while preserving the wood’s classic beauty. Sling swivel studs have been installed for those who prefer a practical carrying option.

The front sight hood has been removed, and the front sight replaced with a Marbles 41W 3/32 ivory bead, which offers a clean and precise sight picture in a variety of conditions. Condition: Excellent overall, with light handling marks that show respectful use. The bore is bright and clean, and the upgraded features have been professionally installed for performance and longevity.
